About Me

Hi, I’m Denise - a professional portrait photographer with over a decade of experience behind the lens. I am also mum of two teenagers, dogs, cats, and a bearded dragon. 

 

I began my career in the studio photographing newborn babies and families, but these days you’ll mostly find me outdoors, chasing natural light, and genuine moments. My approach is relaxed and fun, using gentle prompts rather than posed setups. The result? Images that reflect real personality and those beautifully authentic moments you’ll want to remember. Although I no longer work from a studio, I am able to offer newborn photoshoots within your home, on request.

I have a keen interest in equine photography and will be expanding on this side of the business at every opportunity. Whether it’s the softness in a curious eye, the fluid motion of a gallop, or the subtle moments of trust shared in stillness, I aim to reveal the true spirit of the horse. Through natural light, thoughtful composition, and a calm, intuitive connection, I create images that depict their grace, individuality, and the stories they carry.
